FESTIVAL 2019, July 5-7
24: from Sunrise to Moonlight in Chamber Music
Depicting every moment of the day in chamber music, is it possible? Absolutely!
This year we present works resembling program music, music where the listener can follow a sequence of events within the framework of the story presented.
Composers such as Berlioz and Strauss are true master of this genre with symphonic poems such as Symphonie Fantastique and Don Juan to name a few.
2019 program is filled with chamber music such as Haydn's string quartet "Sunrise" and Brahms very own moonlight sonata, and everything in between.
Welcome to "24: from Sunshine to Moonlight in Chamber Music".
